# Ordering, prices, delivery and returns

> How a kitfit quote becomes an order, how prices, delivery and returns work, and what the fit depends on.

kitfit is in testing: nothing is sold yet, and nothing ordered during testing is made, sent or charged. This page sets
out how ordering will work.

## From layout to quote

1. Your AI sends kitfit your layout and the room: a scan-grade survey, or tape-measure figures.
2. From tape-measure figures kitfit draws the room back, wall by wall, for you to check and sign off.
3. kitfit builds the layout, checks every part against the room and its fit rules, and quotes it, with cheaper and
   premium options alongside. It doesn't ask your budget.
4. Where something needs a person to check it, kitfit's team confirms the price before any payment.

## Paying

Your AI never pays and never sees your payment details. It gives you a link to kitfit's own payment page, where you
see the order and its price and pay for it yourself. Your order is made when you pay there, and kitfit confirms it to
you in writing.

## Prices

Prices to consumers include VAT and every compulsory charge. Delivery is shown before you pay. A quote holds for
[quote validity period].

## Delivery

In Dorset, Hampshire (including the Isle of Wight) and London, delivery can be part of the price kitfit quotes. Elsewhere, kitfit's team arranges the delivery and
confirms its cost before you pay. kitfit tells you the delivery date before you pay; where no date is agreed, the
law's default applies: within 30 days of the order.

## Your measurements and the fit

kitfit makes every part to the layout and the room you signed off. Where the room's measurements are yours (tape
measure, or your own scan), you vouch for them, and the fit depends on them: the filler strips where the cabinets meet
the walls come oversize, to cut to fit on site. kitfit guarantees the fit only where the room was measured by kitfit's
own scan; the guarantee's terms come in writing with any order that carries it.

## Returns and cancelling

- **Made-to-measure parts** are made to your specifications, so the 14-day right to cancel an online order does not
  apply to them once the order is made.
- **Standard items** kitfit supplies unaltered, such as a tap or a sink, can be cancelled within 14 days of delivery
  without a reason. Tell kitfit, send them back unused within 14 days, and kitfit refunds you within 14 days of getting
  them back. You pay to send them back unless they are faulty or not as described.
- **Faulty or not as described:** whatever the item, made to measure or not, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act
  2015 apply: to reject it within 30 days, or to have it repaired or replaced, or a price reduction or refund. See
