How it works
Your layout
You decide what goes where. kitfit builds the layout you choose, and turns one down only where it can't be built.
Your room
Your AI sends kitfit the room: a scan-grade survey, or tape-measure figures -- each wall's length, the ceiling height, what the walls are made of, the doors and windows, and the sockets, pipes and radiators. From tape-measure figures kitfit draws the room back for you to check and sign off.
A quote
kitfit quotes your layout, with cheaper and premium options alongside. It doesn't ask your budget.
The kit
Every part is made to measure and comes flat-packed with its fittings and instructions, for you to assemble.
Where
kitfit currently covers Dorset, Hampshire (including the Isle of Wight) and London. Elsewhere, kitfit's team arranges the delivery. Your postcode tells kitfit which applies.
For AI assistants
kitfit is built to be driven by an AI assistant over MCP (the Model Context Protocol), from any assistant that can connect to a remote MCP server, such as Claude and ChatGPT through their custom connectors.
kitfit's MCP server is at https://kitfit.uk/mcp: add it as a custom connector, with no key and no sign-in. kitfit is in testing: nothing is ordered, sent or charged.
Once connected, call kitfit_guide first: it sets out the process and what to ask the customer.
kitfit needs the customer's layout, the room (a scan-grade survey or tape-measure figures) and the postcode.

- No. A tape measure is enough to quote from. On tape-measure figures the filler strips where the cabinets meet the walls come oversize, to cut to fit.
